Spade promises a view target and sweeps posted clips once a day. Our team cuts every clip and reviews it before it goes live. We run Lumina Clippers, so on 5 November 2026 we read every page in Spade Clipping's sitemap, its clipper app and its clipper terms, and every Spade claim below names the page it came from. Rhys McKay, our Founder & CEO, reviewed this page.
Spade Clipping is built around a guaranteed view floor and a launch inside a day; Lumina Clippers is built around one team that cuts every clip and reviews it before your audience sees it. Whoever cuts picks the moment, the caption and the claim, and whoever checks decides how long a wrong clip stays up.
Spade leads on speed and a guaranteed floor; Lumina Clippers leads on who cuts and when each clip is checked. Every Spade row comes from its own pages.
| Question | Spade Clipping (its own pages) | Lumina Clippers |
|---|---|---|
| Who cuts the clips? | Network clippers make "hundreds of short, platform-native edits" | Our team cuts from your file; clippers post |
| When is each clip checked? | Automated flags as it posts; moderators sweep once a day, after posting | Every clip reviewed against your brief before it goes live |
| Client approval | Approve or reject content "yourself as it posts" | You approve the brief and can ask to see clips before they publish |
| Is a view total guaranteed? | Yes; shortfalls "made up" | No; billed only on verified views |
| How is it priced? | CPM set on a 30-minute call; its cost guide gives rough ranges, not a rate card | Custom pricing from USD 5,000, quoted per campaign |
| Lock-in | No upfront retainers, per its cost guide | No multi-month lock-in |
| Network size claimed | 60,000+ (site); "hundreds" (portal); "thousands" (app) | 62,900+ vetted clippers |
| Country targeting | Three geographic tiers; 80,000+ niche pages | Clippers' own accounts; no country tiers published |
| First post | Within 2 to 24 hours of an approved brief | 24 to 72 hours after the brief is locked |
| Platforms | "Primarily TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts" | TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, X |
| Reporting | Dashboard updates every 4 hours | A live dashboard on verified views |
At Spade, the network's clippers cut your content, in volume. Its How It Works page is open about it: "Clippers turn it into hundreds of short, platform-native edits. Hook first, captioned, sized per platform. Volume is the point: hundreds of clips means hundreds of independent chances at virality."
That is a real strategy. Its homepage lists what Spade itself handles for brands: "We handle strategy, creator briefing, distribution, optimization, and reporting." Editing is not named on that list, so ask who will cut your clips and whether you can see the first cuts.
At Lumina Clippers, our own team cuts every clip from a brief you approve first. The Lumina Clippers homepage puts it plainly: "You send the long-form file, our team cuts it into clips, and 62,900+ vetted clippers post them from their own accounts, on the platforms you pick." Volume finds outliers; one team's cut keeps every clip on message.
At Spade, a clip is checked at the next daily sweep, after it is already live; at Lumina Clippers, every clip is reviewed before it posts.
Where each side checks a clip, by its own pages
Five steps in the life of one clip. Green means that side's own pages say it does the step.
Clippers post on both rows. Neither side bills a failed clip; the difference is whether the check comes before the post or after it.
Spade's How It Works page reads as if clips are approved first, while its guide and blog say they are checked after posting. Step 3: "Our moderation team goes through every clip in your campaign once a day, checked against your brief and your brand guidelines." Step 4: "Approved clips are posted across 80,000+ niche pages and 60,000+ vetted creator accounts".
Its clipper guide gives the other order: "Clips are moderated after they post, on Spade's network once every day". Its brand-safety blog: "Review on a daily cadence means a bad clip can be live for up to a day before it is caught." Its clipper terms add that Spade "may re-review approved clips at any time and reverse approvals". To be fair, Spade does not post blind: "Automated detection flags the statistical failures continuously rather than once a day."
Spade earns credit here: rejected clips are not billed, and you can act on clips yourself. Its FAQ says rejected clips "do not count toward your delivered views, so you never pay for them", and "you can approve or reject content yourself as it posts."
Saying "up to a day" in public is candid. Candid is not the same as safe: if a wrong caption can hurt you within hours, a daily sweep comes too late.
At Lumina Clippers, every clip is checked against your brief before it goes live. Our homepage says: "Each clip is checked against your brief before it goes live, and creators disclose paid partnerships." You can ask to see clips before they publish, but "Most brands approve the brief and let the desk run QA from there". See how our team cuts and checks every clip. If one wrong clip live for a day is a cost you can carry, Spade's sweep covers you; if not, check first.
Spade guarantees a view target at a CPM set on a 30-minute call; Lumina Clippers quotes custom pricing from USD 5,000 per campaign, with no view total guaranteed.
Spade sets its CPM, or cost per thousand views, on a call, and its own pages give two different entry points. Its rate depends on the geographic tier, and its contact page says: "Book a 30-minute call and we will scope the campaign, the guaranteed-view target, and the CPM."
Its cost guide says "entry campaigns start in the low five figures", while the table in the same guide starts "Entry / test" at about USD 3,000. Ask which applies to you. Credit where it is due: "Spade Clipping is fully performance-based: a fixed CPM, no upfront retainers, no hidden fees."
| Budget step | Spade Clipping (its cost guide) | Lumina Clippers |
|---|---|---|
| Test | "Entry / test": 1 to 3M views at about USD 3,000 to 15,000 (table); "low five figures" (text) | From USD 5,000, quoted per campaign |
| Release | "Growth": 5 to 10M views at about USD 10,000 to 50,000 | Quoted per campaign |
| Program | Large brand programs at USD 50,000 to 200,000+ | Quoted per campaign |
| What sets the number | The guaranteed-view target and the geographic tier | The source file, the platforms and the views you want |
A guarantee helps when you must report a number, but it answers how many views, not which clips earned them or when they were checked. Spade's guarantee blog says: "You agree on a target number of views up front, and you only pay for impressions that are actually delivered. If the campaign underdelivers, the shortfall is made up." If you report to a label or a board, a floor is worth something. Ask Spade how a shortfall is made up: more clips, more days or more pages?
Lumina Clippers offers custom pricing from USD 5,000, quoted per campaign, with no multi-month lock-in, billed only on verified views. Only verified views that pass anti-bot checks are billed, and we do not promise a view total: "Nobody controls a feed, so no honest agency can promise that a clip goes viral". Our clipping campaigns page adds: "The campaign budget is all-in: clipper payouts, clip review, distribution, view verification and reporting are included." See what a clipping campaign budget covers and how our clipping agency pricing works.
Spade's headline figures are large, and its own pages show other figures beside them, such as clipper counts and named results. Nothing here says Spade's views are not real; the open question is what each figure counts.
Spade's brand site says 60,000+ clippers, while its clipper pages say "hundreds" and "thousands". The homepage shows "Active Clippers" at "60,000+". Its clipper portal says: "Join hundreds of creators already monetizing their content through our exclusive platform." Its clipper app says: "Join thousands of creators earning with Spade". These pages may count different things: signed up, in the app, or posting this month. Ask how many clippers posted for a campaign like yours last month. Its homepage also says "the authentic rate is 98.5%"; we found no method published for that figure.
Spade also publishes a network map most agencies do not. Tier 1 has 25,000+ clippers in markets such as the US, UK, Canada and Australia; Tiers 2 and 3 add 20,000+ and 15,000+. It lists 80,000+ niche pages, led by music at 16,000+. Our homepage describes us as "A clipping agency with 62,900+ vetted clippers, not an open marketplace"; we do not claim every one is active on every campaign.
Spade's homepage banner says 30B+ views; its case studies page names eight results that add up to 337.9M, and the rest is not itemised, as with most agencies' showcases. The eight: Higgsfield AI at 28.3M from 1,750 clips in four days, Spartans Casino at 255M in three days, Creators Inc Podcast at 14.1M from 1,455 clips in a week, Galaxy Digital at 11M from 1,150 clips in ten days, Wayfair at 4M in seven days, and three artist campaigns at 6.9M, 8.8M and 9.8M.
Spartans Casino reached 255 million views, 9.1 million likes and 55,000 comments in three days, which Spade calls "the largest single campaign Spade Clipping has run". Its music pages claim "10B+ views for over 100 labels" and name twelve of them, including RCA, Republic and Interscope; see how a music clipping agency campaign works. Named results with clip counts are more than most agencies publish.
Each claim below is in Spade's own words, next to what its own pages show; none of it says Spade's views are not real.
| Spade's claim (its words) | What its own site shows |
|---|---|
| "the authentic rate is 98.5%" | A network-wide figure; we found no published method |
| "Active Clippers" "60,000+" | Tiers add to 60,000; portal says "hundreds", app says "thousands"; pages may count different groups |
| "30B+" "Views Generated" | Eight named results total 337.9M; the rest is not itemised |
| "within 2 to 24 hours of an approved brief" | Repeated across its pages; one blog says 6 to 24 |
| "the shortfall is made up" | Rejected clips not billed; how shortfalls are made up is not described |
| "goes through every clip in your campaign once a day" | After posting, per its guide and blog; live for "up to a day" |
| "over 100 labels" | Twelve named |
| "no upfront retainers, no hidden fees" | Rough ranges in its cost guide, no rate card; CPM set on a call |
Lumina Clippers publishes named results read off live campaign dashboards; two are below. Brands we have clipped for include Snapchat, Adobe and Midjourney, and OKX and Polkadot have run campaigns with us too. As our case studies page says: "Every number comes from live campaign dashboards." See our clipping case studies. Ask Spade for the result closest to your campaign, with its clip count and days, and ask us the same.
Each figure carries its measurement window and the date it was read.
iGaming brand: all-time results across TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts and X
Podcast platform: existing episodes cut into vertical clips and posted across creator accounts

Brands we clip for

Spade Clipping is a named, legitimate business with public clipper terms, but we found no brand terms, so ask for the brand agreement before you pay. Credit first: Spade names its company, Spade Group Ltd, and its founder, Yassin Habiballah. Its clipper app has Terms of Service dated October 11, 2026 and a Privacy Policy dated October 9, 2026. The brand side is thinner: we found no page at any of the twelve common legal addresses we tried on spadeclipping.com, from /terms to /refund.
Spade's clipper terms choose US law without naming the state, while its contact page names a Vancouver company. The terms are "governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which Spade is organized". Ask before legal signs: which company is the contract with, and under which law?
| Document or fact | Spade Clipping | Lumina Clippers |
|---|---|---|
| Company named | Spade Group Ltd (contact page) | Lumina Global LLC |
| Address | Vancouver, Canada (city only) | 5768 Monocacy Dr, Bethlehem, PA 18017, USA |
| Public terms | Clipper Terms of Service (October 11, 2026) | Public terms page |
| Brand terms | Not found; no page at twelve common legal addresses | Specifics in a written agreement per engagement |
| Governing law | Clipper terms: US law and the state where Spade is organized | Not stated on our site; ask on the call |
| Default repost rights | View, measure, request takedown (clipper terms 5.3) | Ask on the call |
By default, a Spade client may only view, measure and take down the clips, unless the campaign grants a licence. Clause 5.3 of the clipper terms: "If a campaign does not specify a license, the client receives only the standard right to view and measure the clip for reporting and the right to request takedown as described in Section 4.5." To repost clips or run them as paid ads, ask for that licence in your campaign rules; whether clipping is legal depends on these rights too.
The terms protect you elsewhere. Clippers must honour a takedown request "within the window specified in the notification", your assets "remain the property of the brand or client", and hidden sponsorship labels are a rule violation that can reverse an approval. Paid clips still need the labels set out in the FTC's disclosure guide for influencers.
Our terms also leave the details to a written agreement for each engagement. They say: "Specific deliverables, timelines, pricing, and performance expectations are defined in a separate written agreement or order for each engagement." Read our terms of service, and ask both of us for the agreement before you pay.
Pick Spade Clipping for a guaranteed floor and the fastest start; pick Lumina Clippers when every clip must be cut by one team and reviewed before it posts.
Spade starts sooner: it says campaigns go live "within 2 to 24 hours of an approved brief", and its client dashboard "updates every 4 hours". Our first clips post 24 to 72 hours after the brief is locked. If your date is tomorrow, Spade fits better; if it is next week, the gap is a day or two. Its FAQ names "Primarily TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts", and its blogs also mention X; we post on all four. A guaranteed floor for a report, country tiers and your own approve button are real strengths.
Spade's own list of agencies says we are "not built around brand-safe, guaranteed campaigns"; the guarantee half is true, and the brand-safe half is not. We do not guarantee a view total. The same list says Lumina "leans on AI to pick high-performing moments", but our team cuts every clip and reviews it against your brief before it goes live. Spade's list also ranks Spade first, which is fair: every agency's own list puts itself first, including our list of the best clipping agencies.
Pick Lumina Clippers if one team should cut from your file and every clip must be reviewed before it posts, because one bad clip can become the story. You get custom pricing from USD 5,000, quoted per campaign, with no multi-month lock-in, billed only on verified views. See how our managed clipping service works. Put these questions to both of us on the first call; they follow how to choose a clipping agency:
| Question to ask both | Why it matters |
|---|---|
| Who cuts my clips, and can I see the first cuts? | One team's cut or a crowd's |
| When is each clip checked: before or after it posts? | How long a wrong clip can be live |
| What exactly is guaranteed, and how is a shortfall made up? | A floor of views, of which clips |
| What is the minimum, and is there a retainer? | The entry point decides the test |
| How many clippers posted for a campaign like mine last month? | The size that posts, not the size that signed up |
| Can I repost the clips or run them as paid ads? | Spade's default is view, measure and takedown |
| Which company do I sign with, under which law? | Its clipper terms name US law; its contact page names a Vancouver company |
| Can I see the agreement before I pay? | Terms, law and takedown rules |
Run each agency's answers through the eight questions, once for Spade and once for us. A yes with evidence clears a bolt; a no or a non-answer on a deal-breaker locks the gate.
Four questions about who makes the clips, when they are checked, what you report and how soon you need them. Each answer drops a weight on the side it leans to.
Four questions, and what tips the beam is your own stated preferences rather than any judgement of either operation. Both pans are live, and an even split is reported as level instead of being broken for you.Whichever way it tips, ask both sides when each clip is checked before you sign.
Custom pricing from USD 5,000, quoted per campaign, with no multi-month lock-in. Billed only on verified views. Trusted by Fortune 500 companies.
