If you guessed Joe Rogan, you are in good company: his show reaches more weekly listeners than any other podcast in the US. On single episodes, though, a Saudi conversation about relationships has more than twice the views of Rogan's best. And almost none of these episodes spread as full episodes. One moment did the travelling.
The most watched podcast episode of all time is "How to Succeed in Relationships with Yasser Al-Huzaimi" from Fnjan, a Saudi podcast by Thmanyah, with 164,237,435 YouTube views on 6 October 2026. It was published on 16 November 2022.
The most watched podcast episode is the full episode with the highest public view count on YouTube, the only big platform that shows an exact count for every episode. Here, a clip means a short vertical video cut from that full episode, not audio clipping and not a press clipping.
Guinness World Records lists the Fnjan episode as the most viewed podcast episode on YouTube, verified at 110,789,073 views on 20 August 2024, with the guest's name spelled Yasser Alhozaiemy. By our arithmetic it has added about 53.4 million views since that check. The Guinness title is a YouTube record, not a count of Spotify or Apple listens.
Fnjan's audience is global. In May 2024, Thmanyah said 74% of the episode's viewers were outside Saudi Arabia, 21% watched with English subtitles, and the largest age group was 25 to 34 (Podnews).
These are the 10 most watched podcast episodes we could find and verify on YouTube, read live on 6 October 2026. The counts keep rising, so treat them as a dated snapshot.

The newest name close to the top 10. We found no source tying its growth to one clip.
An album reveal. Most of its reach came from clips on the show's own accounts.
Joe Rogan appears in 6 of the 10, because he is also the guest on Flagrant. Three of the top 10 come from outside the US: Saudi Arabia, India and Indonesia.
The newest name to watch is Figuring Out with Raj Shamani. Its episode FO560 with Major Rishabh Singh Sambyal, published on 10 September 2026, had 33,931,734 views 26 days later. That is about 1.3 million views a day by our arithmetic, and it sits just under number 10.
Worked example: views per day. Views per day is total views divided by days since release. Fnjan: 164,237,435 views over 1,420 days is about 115,700 views a day. Joe Rogan #1169: 69,289,118 views over 2,952 days is about 23,500 a day. On that measure, the Fnjan episode has drawn views about five times faster for its whole life.
The most viewed Joe Rogan episode is #1169 with Elon Musk, at 69.3 million YouTube views on 6 October 2026. His top three episodes all have more than 63 million views.
| Episode | Guest | Released | YouTube views (6 Oct 2026) |
|---|---|---|---|
| #1169 | Elon Musk | 6 Sep 2018 | 69,289,118 |
| #1315 | Bob Lazar and Jeremy Corbell | 20 Jun 2019 | 66,767,441 |
| #2219 | Donald Trump | 25 Oct 2024 | 63,153,215 |
| #1070 | Jordan Peterson | 30 Jan 2018 | 39,948,537 |
| #1470 | Elon Musk | 7 May 2020 | 34,901,965 |
| #1555 | Alex Jones and Tim Dillon | 27 Oct 2020 | 30,079,879 |
| #1284 | Graham Hancock | 22 Apr 2019 | 28,326,161 |
| #2111 | Katt Williams | 29 Feb 2024 | 26,807,894 |
Elon Musk is the only guest with two episodes in Rogan's top five. Katt Williams has big episodes on two shows: 93.9 million views on Club Shay Shay and 26.8 million on Rogan's.
No one can name the most listened-to podcast episode, because no platform publishes exact listens for every episode. YouTube is the only big platform with a public, exact count on every episode, which is why every "most watched" list, Guinness included, uses YouTube.
| Platform | What it shows the public |
|---|---|
| Spotify | Plays only as milestones, such as 50K, 100K or 1M, and nothing before 50,000 plays (Spotify for Creators) |
| Apple Podcasts | No play or download count on public episode pages |
| Podcast hosts | Downloads, which stay private to each show, and a download does not prove anyone listened |
| YouTube | An exact view count under every video. A view counts a play, not a full watch of a long episode |
Spotify introduced public play counts in May 2025 and moved them to milestones days later, after creators objected (TechCrunch). So the question people ask most, the most listened-to episode, has no public answer, and any list claiming one is guessing.
For whole shows rather than single episodes, survey data does exist. Edison Research at SSRS ranked The Joe Rogan Experience first among US podcasts by weekly reach in Q1 2026, ahead of Crime Junkie and The Daily.
The part of each big episode that spread was usually a moment of seconds or minutes, cut short, shared and picked up by the news. These are long recordings: Rogan's #1169 runs 2 hours 37 minutes, and the Flagrant episode's chapter list runs past 3 hours 8 minutes. Here is what got clipped from each, where the moment can be verified.
The Fnjan episode spread through single lines of relationship advice, not one scene. Guinness World Records quoted the kind of line that travelled: "The more you elevate others, the smaller you become." Each line works without the rest of the episode, fits in a caption and gives the viewer something to send to a friend. With 21% of viewers using English subtitles, the advice also travelled well past Arabic speakers.
The interview spread because Williams named other famous comedians, one by one. He claimed Cedric the Entertainer took one of his jokes, and he called Kevin Hart an "industry plant" (Los Angeles Times). Each name produced a reply. Cedric answered on Instagram (Revolt), Hart appeared to answer on X (Hot 105), and Rickey Smiley answered on his syndicated morning show (Atlanta Black Star). Saturday Night Live parodied the interview on 20 January 2024 (The Root). Newsweek reported more than 60 million views about two months after release (Newsweek), and the show's own cut, "Katt Williams Calls Out Steve Harvey, Kevin Hart, Cedric The Entertainer, and Rickey Smiley", had 10,831,848 views on 6 October 2026.
Rogan's 2018 episode with Musk spread because of one moment: Musk took a puff of a joint on camera. Tesla shares fell more than 6 percent the next day, the same day top executives were reported leaving the company, so the clip was not the only story moving the stock (NPR). In November 2018, Space.com, citing The Washington Post, reported that a NASA safety review of SpaceX and Boeing was spurred largely by Musk's behaviour on the show (Space.com). The Guardian's 48-second clip of the moment had 733,075 views on 6 October 2026.
The Bob Lazar episode spread through Lazar's claim that he worked on alien craft near Area 51, and then it turned into a real-world event. CNN reported in July 2019 that the creator of the "Storm Area 51" Facebook event got the idea after Rogan's interview with Lazar and Jeremy Corbell. By then 1.6 million people had clicked "Going" and another 1.2 million "Interested" (CNN).
The Trump episode came out on 25 October 2024, eleven days before the US election. Mediaite's list of its top moments led with Rogan pressing Trump on his claims of fraud in the 2020 election (Mediaite, Salon). An official JRE Clips upload, "Joe Gets Trump to Discuss JFK Files and UFO Disclosure", had 9,834,452 views on 6 October 2026. Rogan endorsed Trump on 4 November 2024, and he tied that endorsement to his later episode with Elon Musk, not to this one (CNN).
The Flagrant episode with Joe Rogan, released on 7 June 2022, has 44.3 million views, but no single moment dominated the coverage. Its chapters include Rogan reacting to the Johnny Depp and Amber Heard verdict and talking about Carlos Mencia (Apple Podcasts). We found no major outlet that tied the episode's reach to one clip, so we do not name one.
The Jordan Peterson episode from January 2018 has 39.9 million views. We could not find a major outlet that tied one moment from this episode to a wider news cycle, so we do not name one.
Raj Shamani's April 2025 episode with the teacher Khan Sir spread through his explanation of why India does not have the same power as the US and China to raise tariffs, which DNA India wrote up the next day (DNA India).
The episode features Laura Anna, who was left paralysed after a car crash in December 2019. She spoke to Deddy Corbuzier about her recovery in an episode published on 7 December 2021. She died on 15 December 2021, at 21 (The Jakarta Post), and Indonesian media revisited the interview as one of her last (Liputan6).
Musk's May 2020 return to the show spread through one question: how to pronounce his son's name, X Æ A-12 (ABC7). A second line, Musk saying possessions "weigh you down", was also widely covered (The A.V. Club).
Taylor Swift's appearance on New Heights, released on 13 August 2025, shows how far clips can outgrow the full episode. The episode set a Guinness World Record for the most concurrent viewers of a podcast on YouTube, 1.3 million people watching at once (Guinness World Records). Swift used it to reveal her 12th album, The Life of a Showgirl. Outlets reported between 11 million (Tubefilter) and 13 million (Variety) YouTube views in the first 24 hours.
The bigger number came from clips. Media analytics firm Mondo Metrics counted views from the first teaser early on Tuesday 12 August to 5 p.m. ET on Thursday 14 August 2025, across official clips, the full show and short edits posted on New Heights' own handles (Forbes, Tubefilter). Fan uploads are not included, so total reach was higher.
Those six platform counts add up to about 548 million views, by our sum, and Instagram alone counted about 18.6 times the YouTube total. The full episode had 26,194,088 YouTube views on 6 October 2026, which is outside the top 10. Measured by where people actually watched, Swift's appearance was one of the biggest podcast moments ever, and most of it happened in short videos.
The most clipped podcast moments share five traits, and each one shows up in the episodes above. None of these moments was the whole episode. The clip was a small part people could carry somewhere else.
A viewer needs no context. A line of advice, one puff or one name works in 30 seconds.
Katt Williams named comedians who then answered, and each answer started a new round of coverage.
Tesla's stock fell. A Facebook event about Area 51 drew 1.6 million "Going". Consequences turn a clip into news.
Swift announced an album. A reveal gives news sites and fans a reason to post within minutes.
The Fnjan lines are advice people forward to a friend. A clip someone sends to one person often travels further than one they only like.
The biggest shows do not wait for fans to find the moment. They post the clips themselves. The Joe Rogan Experience runs a separate channel, JRE Clips, and its Trump cut on the JFK files and UFOs had 9,834,452 views on 6 October 2026. Club Shay Shay posted its own cut of the Katt Williams interview built around the names, and it had 10,831,848.
A clip channel gives the moment a home the show controls. News outlets and fans post their own cuts too: The Guardian's 48-second clip of the Musk joint moment had 733,075 views on 6 October 2026, and Al Jazeera's had 314,074.
One long recording, cut into the moments that work alone, posted where people scroll.
You cannot plan a 164-million-view episode, but you can make sure the moments in your episodes reach people who will never sit through the full recording.
Every episode in this guide whose spread we could trace grew through short clips posted by many accounts on many platforms, not through the full episode alone. A show that waits for viewers to find the full episode is betting on the one route the biggest shows did not rely on. Our podcast clip ideas guide covers which moments to cut, how to grow a podcast with clips covers the posting plan, and does podcast clipping work looks at what clips produce. Podcast platform: episodes cut into vertical clips and posted natively across TikTok and Instagram Reels
This list counts full podcast episodes on YouTube and ranks them by public view count on 6 October 2026.
What counts as a podcast episode: a full conversation episode from a show that calls itself a podcast, posted on the show's or host's own YouTube channel.
What we left out: clip uploads, compilations, radio interviews and vlogs. "I Meet MrBeast To Break The Internet!!" from Cristiano Ronaldo's channel has 69,857,861 views and appears on some lists, but it is a YouTube video, not an episode of a podcast.
How we checked: we searched YouTube by view count in English, Arabic, Hindi, Indonesian, Portuguese and Spanish, then read each episode's views and publish date from YouTube directly, and checked the leader against Guinness World Records.
What it cannot show: audio listens on Spotify, Apple Podcasts and other apps. A show with a large audio audience and a small YouTube channel ranks lower here than it deserves. We will re-read the counts every quarter.
| Term | What it means |
|---|---|
| View | One play of a video on YouTube, counted publicly under every video |
| Play | Spotify's count of times an episode was played, shown publicly only as a milestone |
| Download | A file delivered to a listener's app, counted privately by the podcast host |
| Concurrent viewers | People watching a live stream or premiere at the same moment |
| Clip | A short vertical video cut from a full episode for TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts or X |
Lumina Clippers cuts your episodes into native clips for TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts and X, posted by a network of 62,900+ clippers, with 18B+ verified views delivered so far.
